WHAT IS THE ENDOWMENT FUND?

The endowment fund for Girls Inc. of Bristol is a dedicated financial resource designed to support our mission. Our long-term goal is $4 million which would enable all future contributions to go to programs. We currently have over $600 thousand invested and estate trust bequests valued at over $1.5 million. The principal base of the fund expands over time, while the proceeds of our investments contribute to sustainability for our organization. This financial stability ensures that Girls Inc. of Bristol can inspire and equip children for a successful future, making a lasting impact in the community.

HOW IT’S MANAGED

Our Endowment Fund is managed by a committee of dedicated Girls Inc. of Bristol stakeholders, including Wells Fargo Advisors, with various professional experiences. Our Board of Trustees has approved this committee to oversee the management, contribution, investment, and spending of this fund. All investment and spending choices align with the Girls Inc. of Bristol mission, vision, and values, to support the girls that we serve.
